The 16th Installation Ceremony of the Sasonian Interact Club was held in the newly built conference Hall of St. Augustine's School, Kalimpong on 30th June , 2023 at 3.45 pm .

The Chief guest for the day was Rev. Father Dr. Victor Fernandes, Principal of St. Augustine's school and the Guest of Honour was the President of the Rotary Club of Kalimpong, Rtn. CA Sumit Jindal .

Around 6 Rotarians and First Lady Ann Suruchi were present to witness the event along with representatives from the Rockvale Academy , Saptashri Gyanpeeth , Vrindavan School and Dr. Graham's Homes Interact Clubs.

Interact Faculty Councillors Mr. Neeraj Pradhan and Mr. Anurag Balmiki were present along with faculty councillors of various schools .

The Installation was done grandly keeping in mind all the Rotary International tenets and ceremony. Each and every minute detail had been planned to progress smoothly

The incoming President of the Sasonian Interact Club, Interactor Aniket Mangar was installed by the Guest of Honour, Presd. Rtn CA Sumit Jindal .

The former was offered the President's collar and the gavel to maintain discipline and decorum during meetings.

The incoming secretary, Interactor Adarsh Pradhan was also Installed along with the other Board of Directors .

The Chief Guest and the Guest of Honour gave their respective addresses to motivate and inspire the Interactors .

Since it was the last programme during the term of the President , it was kind of his farewell and gratitude speech as well with a bit of emotion .

President Elect , Rtn Mahendra Agarwal unveiled his term theme for the RY 2023 - 24 ; Create Hope in the World

New Generation Director Rtn. Sheila Rai Fudong administered the oath to all the new members .
Total of 45 new members were installed .

The Sasonian Interact Club unveiled their clubs logo which was beautifully designed.

They also presented a significant power point presentation which showed their activities of the previous year .

They also launched a trophy in memory of Late. Rtn. K.N. Pradhan Sir , teacher of St.Augustine’s School , an ardent Rotarian and also a Paul Harris Fellow . This trophy will be awarded to the best Interact Club of Kalimpong District to be decided by the Rotary club of Kalimpong .

The installation ended with an expression of thanks and the School Song of St.Augustine's School followed by Hi-tea .

It was indeed a perfectly planned and executed event in the swanky new hall of St. Augustine’s School , Kalimpong .
