On this day Rotary club of Silchar participated in a joint awareness campaign on the use of Solar Energy, as per the initiative of Central government with women's college Silchar. Members handed over 5 solar lamps to the principal of the College. Later on the same day members visited Kuladasundari Pathshala where cooking mid day meal for children was very tough during power cut. Members handed over 3 solar lamps to the Principal of the school.
