Bicycle Rally on World River Day

Project Overview:--: To create awareness among the public against polluting the Bharalu River a Bi cycle Rally was organized with the Save Bharalu Abhiyan Group on World River Day ie on 24th September,2023
Project Description:--:
Rotary Club of Gauhati South Co-sponsored with Save Bharalu Abhiyan , an NGO ,observed the World River Day 2023 on 24th September by organizing a Bicycle Rally along the bank of the Bharalu River from Rajgarh Bihutoli to Bharalumukh (at Pragjyotish College) to create awareness among the public against polluting the river and to prevent dumping of garbage into it. The cycle rally was flagged off at 6.0 am in the morning of 24th September. Most of the participants are from Tilinga Sports Club numbering more than 50. Rotarians from RCGS led by the President and Secretary took active part in that peograme.
