On 10 th June, Rotary Club Of Siliguri, Uttorayon Believers, during this hottest month of the year decided to promote potters and discourage the use of unhealthy plastic containers, distributed earthen pots among poor workers to store water. Believers always tries to help the society and needy. They distributed 125 earthen water storage containers with taps, mug, fruit juices,fruit etc. to 125 families. As we know the old practice of drinking water from earthen pot is healthy, hygienic, and they are natural purifiers and prevents sunstroke and dehydration.

The program was very well organised by Project chairperson Rtn.Suman Maheshwari under the leadership of President Rtn.Kiran Kayan, Sectetary Rtn.Sunita Pasari, Treasurer Rtn.Sulekha Agarwal, Advisor Rtn.Asha Gupta,Rtn. Pramila Bansal and all other members present.The program was taken in renowned coverage in Hindi paper janpath,Bharat darpan and in english newspaper also in The Stateman .This was also telecast in cannel S.K.Lives.
