  • "We only have what we give ".
Everything present on this earth is useful and have value.Holi is the festival of color, of happiness, of joy and exuberance. We enjoy this festival by playing with colours and sharing delicacies. Besides this we also worship goddess holika. This goddess is worshipped from the ancient time in the form of cow dung. People make cow dung barkula and tie them in malla.
We Rotary Club Of Siliguri, Uttorayon, Believers invited those ladies who make these and earn their livelihood, and provided them an opportunity to exhibit their products in our Uttorayon township. They sold in huge quantity. They also sold sweets, and puja samagri.
The program started from 10.00 A.M and ended at 3.00 P.M. Not only they were happy but also the community people got at their door step all their Pooja samagri and that saved their time and energy. The program was very well organised by our project chairperson Rtn.Nisha Bansal with the help of all other believers.
