Project Description:--:
Rotary Club Shillong Heritage distributed four sewing machines under District Grant 2344770 to four beneficiaries namely Smti. Lal Muni Rai from New Colony, Smti. Junu Rabha from Bishnupur, Smti. Grace Kharumnuid from Mawlai and Smti. Joymati Das from Stoneyland. These four beneficiaries were selected from a listof candidates by the club's Vocational Committee alongwith the President and the Secretary after thouroughly going through their biodatas and interviewing them.It was overwhelming to see the joy in the faces as most of these women on receiving the machines as they could now earn their livelihood by using the machines as they all come from low economic backgrounds and some are also single mothers.
