Assam was devasted by floods in last part of june and early july !
Apart from other essentials, there was an acute shortage of drinking water at most places !
Our club moved in to provide 500 ml bottles of drinking water through voluntary contributions by almost 20 well wishers and we could collect 40000 rupees for the same and this helped us to provide 5000 water bottles to silchar town , where Rotary club of Silchar and Rotary Club of Greenland Silchar were our local partners in distribution .
