On a bright Sunday 28th of August, 22 Rotarians of RC Darjeeling, Rotaractors of Southfield and St.Joseph college and interactors of Lotero Convent, Gyanoday Niketan, St. Joseph and Nepali Girls HS gathered at the Local Gymkhana Club. 300 nos. of different species of tree sapling were handed over to Retractors, Interactors and Rotarians to take care for the sapling till next Environment day , so as to improve the survival rate of the sapling when planted. During the World Environment Day 2023, planting of the saplings will be done in designated area allotted by the Forest Department.
