    Due to widespread outbreaks of infectious disease after flood are common,assuming the situation Rotary organised a mega-health camp in Nandigram, Shalchapra. Rotary Club of Silchar jointly with Rotary Club of Greenland Silchar,Rotary Club of Pink Silchar and Rotary Club of Silchar Central organised the medical camp . AG Rtn Chandana Purkayastha of Zone-15 ,kindly inaugurated the Camp.In this medical camp ,300 patients were checked up by the eminent doctors and medicines were also given . The camp was managed by the Rotary Club of Silchar Pink . The doctors who were present in the Camp are Dr Bijay Laxmi Das, Dr Bablu Banik, Dr Anjan Paul, Dr Arina Raha, Dr. Dhrubajyoti Nath, Dr Biswarup Laskar, Dr Piyali Acharjee,Dr Rajesh Kalowar, Dr Ankita Gupta, Dr Prithviraj Das, Dr Sandeep Nath, Dr Mostafiz Ahmed Majharbhuiya. Members of Roteract Club of Silchar Medical College assisted the doctors and also helped them to distribute medicines amongst the beneficiaries. Roteracter members present were Rezina Islam, Banhishikha Das,Hiya Kashyap,Taniya Bilkis Chaudhuri, Unjali Chaudhuri,Suchismita Das and Sagarika Boro. Rotarians who managed the camp were Rtn Ramanuj Gupta ( President Silchar Rotary Club), Past Assistant Governors Rtn Taimur Raja Choudhury,Rtn Shankar Deb, Rtn Ramadhir Bose, IPP Rtn Gautam Paul,President Elect Rtn Debashish Chakraborty, Acting Service Project Director Rtn Fakrul Alam Mazumdar, Rtn Ranjit Deb, Rtn Madhusudan Paul, Rtn Partha Sarathi Nath, Rtn Priyatanu Goswami,President of Rotary Club of Greenland Rtn Amalendu Basak, Rtn Saurav Chakraborty,Rtn Prasenjit Das,President of Rotary Club of Pink Rtn Jayashree Kar.
