Success of a nation depends upon his education policy and at the same time on its literacy percentage. By giving education to children you are building a strong nation and healthy future.
In this regard Rotary Club of Siliguri Utorayon under the dynamic leadership of our president Rtn Naresh Agarwal and Secretary Rtn Raghubansh Prasad adopted a school named Bhognarayan Singh SSK primary school in Matigara block Siliguri and transform this school into Rotary Happy School.
Today DM Darjeeling Sri S Poonavalam inaugurated the school in the presence of other esteemed officers of the block namely BDO Matigara division Sri Srivas biswas,SEO Matigara Sri Robin Sarkar , Pradhan UpPradhan and other Panchayat members of Patherghata gram Panchayat and rotary club members.
The chairman Rtn Gopal kayan Informed that our club had adopted eight school in and around Matigara division and this is the first school we have converted into Rotary Happy School and it is done with the help of members who had contributed willingly named Rtn Kuldip Bansal Rtn Pradip Agarwal Rtn Raghubansh Prasad Rtn Dr Animesh Jha and other members of the club. We are also thankful to local adminstration for their kind support .
