Inaugration of toilet in A.D. Sharma Tribal School

On 24th May 2023 Rotary Club of Siliguri Uttoroyan Believers constructed and inaugurated a toilet in the premises of Government A.D Sharma Tribal school as development of infrastructure and sanitation comes in one of the seven focus areas of Rotary. This was done with great effort and with the support of all fellow rotarians. Many female students after onset of puberty are forced to quit school due to lack of proper toilets. Construction of the washroom in itself is a milestone.

The chief guest for the inauguration ceremony was Ms Pratima Joshi and the Guest of Honour was Shri Ravinder Jain with zonal coordinator Rtn Gopal Kayan. Other members of the club were also present to celebrate the success in this philanthropic project. Thanks to everyone for joining hands to make the world a little beautiful 🙏
