INAUGURATION AND DEDICATION OF UPGRADED ICU AND HDU AT Dr. H. GORDON ROBERTS HOSPITAL
Rotary Club of Shillong ICU upgradation project through Global Grant with support of its international partner District 3282 Bangladesh was inaugurated on 20th June 2023 at Dr H Gordon Roberts Hospital. The cost of the project was approximately Rs 50 lacs. Rtn Kishan Tibrewalla also contributed a substantial amount. Chief Guest on the occasion was Hon'ble Minister Health and Family Welfare, Govt of Meghalaya, Dr M Ampareen Lyngdoh. Programme was attended by members of the Governing Body, doctors, nurses and staff of the hospital. With the help of this project of RCS, this ICU is now, one of the largest in any private hospital in the city. 18 ICU beds, bed side lockers, cardiac monitors, ECG machines, food trays, IV stands, infusion pumps, examination lights, crash cart and other necessary items were presented to the hospital. Special thanks goes to PDG Dr Debashish Das, Rtn Kishan Tibrewalla and Rtn David Umdor for their respective roles in securing this project and in ensuring its completion and handing over.
