Installation of Rotaract Club of Rockvale Academy

The 15th Installation Ceremony of the Interact Club of Rockvale Academy was held on the 26th of August 2022 at 2.00 PM in the Junior School Hall.
The chief guest for the occasion was Captain Prakash Mani Pradhan, Principal of Rockvale Academy and the guest of honor was Rtn CA Sumit Jindal, President of the Rotary Club of Kalimpong. Several other Rotarians including the New Generation Director, Rtn SR Fudong attended the function.
The Installation ceremony was conducted very well as per the norms of Rotary. The guests and all incoming office bearers were smartly escorted to the dais by the SAA. The MC was per excellence. Here it is notable to mention that with 132+ members, the Interact Club of Rockvale Academy has become the largest Interact Club in Kalimpong district.
President Rtn CA Sumit Jindal inducted the President of the Interact Club of Rockvale Academy and administered the Oath of office and handed over the Gavel to maintain discipline and decorum. The Chief Guest Capt Prakash Mani Pradhan, gave out the lapel pins of the new inductee Interactors. The New Gen Director of the Rotary Club of Kalimpong, Rtn Sheila Rai Fudong administered the oath of office to the interactors. President Rtn CA Sumit Jindal addressed the gathering explaining the whys and wherefores of an Interact Club and what being an Interactor entailed and encouraged them to give their best. The New Gen Director, Rtn Sheila Rai Fudong in her speech encouraged the Interactors to ‘Imagine’ and have a vision for the future, this year the RI President’s theme being ‘Imagine Rotary.’ The chief guest, Capt Prakash Mani Pradhan spoke eloquently about how Rotary and other organisations throughout the word is serving the community with their selfless service. He urged his school’s Interact Club to be the best in the District.
