Rotary Club Of Siliguri Uttorayon Believers celebrated International Girl Child Day by installing Sanitary Destroyer Machine in Sacred Heart School, Siliguri which is a reputed co- education, residential school here in the town and is serving the society. Keeping in mind the health and hygiene of the girls in the school, the club took this initiative. 11th October is celebrated all over as Girl Child Day to arouse the consciousness and the need to protect every girl child in our society. Our project intends to benefit 500 girl students of this institution and it will also aid the environment.

This machine was inaugurated by PR head Madam Purnima Roy. This installation project was extremely well organised by Rtn. Mousami Paul under the able guidance of president Rtn. Monica Prasad, Secretary Rtn. Sunita Agarwal, and IPP Rtn. Kiran Kayan. The School director Madam Priakee Gupta had arranged hi tea for everyone and was a great host to this event.
