Janani suraksha yojana

Rotary Club Of Siliguri Uttoroyan Believers in collaboration with Arogyam jointly held a project on janani suraksha on 27th April for 35 members of Teria Tea Garden who are underprivileged. We gifted them sarees, food packets and juices and a Discount Card of Arogyam. This was launched for the benefit of the patients. The awareness on menstrual hygiene was given by Dr.Kajal Kumari (gynecologist). She enlightened everyone on the proper age for a girl to get married and become a mother. The entire program was well organised by the Director and the owner of Arogyam and secretary of Terai welfare Association were also present. It was done under the leadership of of our IPP Kiran Kayan, President Monica Prasad, Vice President Anju Sarda, Secretary Sunita Ag,Treasurer Anita Mittal and member Rtn Mousami. The entire club expresses their thanks to Dr kajal Kumari and Dr Animesh jha for organising such a wonderful event in Arogyam Healthcare.
