From the birth of a newborn baby to the chrysalis stages, breastfeeding is of the utmost importance for the child as well as the mother's health.
Rotary Club of Greenland Silchar with the active support and association from the Rotaract Club of Silchar Medical College and Hospital, Observed Breastfeeding Week at the Mother and Child Health Building of Silchar Medical College and Hospital. Club members distributed Nutritional Food Items, Milk, Fruits and Drinking Water Bottles among the Mothers present in the Maternity Ward. An awareness program regarding breastfeeding was also held to enlighten the mothers present there.
