Plantation

10th April, Monday, Rotary Club of Siliguri Uttoroyan Believers plantated new plants in Uttoroyan locality, as April is celebrated as environment month. We tried to create a difference by planting saplings, and connecting to our environment. Unfortunately, there is very less afforestation and deforestation is still rampant. Let's not go far! See the entrance of uttoroyan- for our convenience we have come up with malls, hospitals etc...and all at the cost of cutting down trees.

Let's all get together and plant more and more trees and save our earth. We also took the initiative to use earthen cups. The gift our host gave us was also in shape of a plant...and to everyone 's surprise it was icecream. This all is just a step to make a green Earth. We have to walk several more steps and everyone needs to join us. We planted saplings in our native place, Rajasthan, Haryana, Ghoshpukur and many villagers joined us in this noble endeavour. We hope to see an impact 🧡
