Quenching your thirst

15th August 2022 was a hot sunny day in Kalimpong. The town had a ceremonious look and every Kalimpongite was out in their best to participate the Independence Day celebrations, after a gap of two years, in a grand manner. Rotary Club of Kalimpong organized a free juice distribution stall for the general public. The stall was set up in the premise of PP Rtn Dr. DP Pandey’s clinic on the main road. The distribution center was opened from 10.00 AM to 4.00 PM in the evening. Close to 500 litres of juice was distributed to the public on the day. Special attention was given to the participants of the marching contingents and the police and other volunteers for juice distribution. Rotarians, Anns and Lets in great numbers came out to help out in the distribution programme. The gesture of the Club was highly appreciated by one and all and the organizing committee of District Administration presented a memento as a token of appreciation to the Club. A very successful community service scheme executed by the Club which also earned a good name to the Club.
