Rotary Club of Cherry Blossom, Shillong in collaboration with the Mylliem Marbaniang Dorbar Shnong and Mylliem Marbaniang Lower Primary School conducted a plantation drive here on Wednesday, 10th August as a part of their Pre- Independence Day celebrations. The members, teachers and the children of the school planted over 60 saplings and took a pledge to nurture it. The club and the dorbar also sensitised the children on plastic waste disposal. The L.P. school children, members of the Shnong and members of Rotary Club celebrated the program by distributing sweets and snacks.
