Project Overview:--: Rotary Club Shillong Heritage gave out the Vocational Excellence Awards ceremony to 5 deserving candidates on the 26th of April 2023

Rotary Club Shillong Heritage celebrated its vocational awards Programme on the 26th of April, 2023. The chief guest for the programme was senior Civil servant Rosetta Mary Kurbah the Director of Education and the incoming Deputy Commisioner of Shillong.
Recipients of the award included businessman and Philanthropist Shri. Shankar Lal Goenka, the late khasi folk singer and musician Shri.Skendrowell Syiemlieh, field coordinator of Childline Shillong I Synrem, and social enterpreneur Shidalin Marbaniang. NESFAS was also honoured for social entrepreneurship with an award as an organisation.
Each of the recipients shared the story of their journey and how honoured they were to be recognised for their efforts.
